FALL IS COMING & TIME TO BREAK OUT THE PUMPKINS

Well, it's almost time for us to get our porch and house completely decorated with hay bails, corn stalks and tons of pumpkins and little creatures peeking out from all corners of the porch and house. I just haven't had the time to get on top of this earlier, but hopefully this coming weekend, I will have a chance to get some thing accomplished. My girlfriend and I are trying to get ready for the Emmaus Art Walk, which is being organized by the Emmaus Arts Commission and it is scheduled for October 6th and 7th. I will post some pictures here after the show of our booth, artwork and our friends that we meet. As for getting things created, sewn, painted, sculpted, sprayed, etc....well...I will only be able to take what I have created thus far. Any new pieces will have to be seen and bought from my website, or my auctions on EBay, Etsy and Grapevine Hollow. I can't wait to spend more time in my studio and with the Fall and Winter right around the corner, I should be able to get some quality time in.

I would love to take some art classes this Fall and Winter to expand my knowledge and techniques. The ideal thing to do would be for me to go to ArtFest out in Washington. This year I can't, but I'm going in 2009. Teesha Moore and her husband have this wonderful event every year and put tons of workshops together for all to attend. Sign up for these workshops starts in early September, so the 2008 ArtFest is already booked up. So 2009 it will be!

Have to hit the Studio now, get some time in there today. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Cheers for Now...

EMMAUS ART COMMISSION-ART WALK

Just another quick note...Emmaus Art Commission is having their 2nd Annual Art Walk on October 6 and 7, 2007! Make sure you all stop by and see our booth at "Perk." They have this wonderful Coffee House that my girlfriend turned me on to and I just love their COFFEE!

Hope to see you all there!

The Witches Club

I JUST LOVE THIS PICTURE!

Coming Soon - HALLOWEEN

Fall is coming and I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! I had to work last night at Medevac and as always I was slammed. They call me (the Medevac Crews) the little black cloud, because when I work it seems that all the accidents happen all at ONCE! LOL

Well anyways, my girlfriend Tracey and I got invited to the Emmaus, PA Art Walk Festival this year! It's on October 6 and 7th. We are very excited and have a lot of work ahead of us, but it will be so worth it! Being an Artist is exciting and hard, because you want to put yourself out there and get people to notice you and your art! I've been working on my cloth dolls and they are coming along. I have most of the bodies stuffed and sewn and I have about 30 more to cutt out and get them stuff. Once that is done, the fun begins. I can't wait to see how they all turn out. Even though you make 2 or 3 of the same pattern, they all come out different. Each one has their own little personality.

Another news in the studio, I got my first publication in "Somerset Studios." I was really excited because it's one of my favorite magazines. I love "Art Doll Quarterly" they also have which is a great magazine for Mixed-Media Artists. I will also be appearing in Indie Arts DVD Magazine in October. I can't wait to see that issue. Karen Landey the producer, is such a wonderful person and what she is doing for unknown and known artists is such a wonderful thing! I will be forever grateful to her!

Until next time!
Cheers to ALL!
