IT's All About Sketching!

Take Time Out To DRAW, SKETCH, PLAY! These are a few my sketches that I have been working on. I am actually taking the Misty Mawn Workshop "Drawing & Painting Portraits" and I have to say, I'm very behind in the workshop due to an unexpected Business Trip, but I will be catching up in the next week or so. I thought I would post some draft sketches that I'm working on. I am also very excited about Suzi Blu's New Goddess & The Poet No. 2 Workshop that will be starting sometime in May. I absolutely love her workshops. Suzi is a fantastic art teacher and she really gets you excited about what you are doing!

CREATE ART EVERYDAY and HAVE FUN!
Until Next Time...CHEERS!

I so miss sketching. I haven't done it recently and I really need to get back to it. It puts your mind in a really cool place--no longer analytical and less judgmental. I used to kick myself when the sketches wouldn't turn out, but now I realize it's a process not a goal. Keep doing it. Your style definitely shows through and that's what every artist wants.

Hi Michelle! Good to see you posting again - missed you while you were on your trip.

I've just gotten back into sketching. I used to sketch all the time when I was younger and am enjoying getting back to it.

I like what Autumnforest says about sketing being a process and not a goal.

Sketching is so relaxing! And a wonderful way to "stretch your creative muscle". I am taking Suzi's class now and I am terribly behind due to much traveling and some big commissions. I hope to catch up next month! She is a wonderful teacher!

I love the peek into your sketchbook! I draw nearly everyday for the pure joy of it and I cannot resist drawing faces, especially with interesting expressions. Hours and Hours of fun! Thanks for sharing!
