I hope you all had a great weekend and very Happy Easter! I believe I ate to much chocolate! LOL !
I have been working on a Muslin Journal that Lynne Hoppe put up on her blog as a tutorial. If you haven't seen her fantastic tutorial, hop over there and check it out. Be warned, it's addicting! LOL
All you need to get started is some Muslin. I tea stained the Muslin and added some walnut crystals to the mix. Measure out your pieces. I wanted a bigger journal, so my pages are 10 1/2 x 8 1/2. 
Tear your Muslin after you have measured them out if you want the raw edges (which I absolutely love). 
I did a drawing and then sewed it to the cover.
Add, ribbons, paper, other pieces of fabric, etc. to your pages. I gesso, so gesso your pages and get your paints out. You can also use watercolor, oil pastels, pencils, papers to get your creative magic going!
I sewed the signatures together and then used yarn to sew them together and bind them in the book. It's so much fun...you must make one of these, you will love it!Have fun making your Muslin Journal and make sure you stop by and see Lynne's wonderful Muslin Journal Tutorial!
