GREETINGS & SALUTATIONS
Creepy Orphan Society has a BLOG now. I've been working on it for the past few days and it still needs some work, but it will get there all in due time.
If you would like to join our new and exciting Group, please leave me a comment here, email me, or leave a comment on our new Creepy Orphan Society Blog. Please note, make sure you leave your links so we can check out your work.
We are officially open as of January 2011, but some of the members have signed up for a few challenges before we launch in January. Our very first Challenge is entitled:
MORBID CURIOSITIES
You can check out the Mütter Museum next time you’re in Center City Philadelphia, on 19 South 22nd Street.
WEBSITE INFORMATION: http://www.collphyphil.org/mutter_hist.htm
I will be posting some of the members that have completed their challenge later on the COS Blog.
I have also finished my piece. Meet "Henray Lost." He is a Creepy Orphan waiting for Adoption. However, they keep him locked in his room at the Orphanage because he lost his foot and they hung it on the ceiling so he couldn't get out.
The poor thing...what is a Creepy Orphan to do?
I hope you enjoyed "Henray Lost" and make sure to stop over later to the other Creepy Orphans.
I hope you all have a wonderful and creative weekend.
Now off to Rock out to RUSH and add some green olives to my drink!
Until Next Time...
CHEERS

Pattee
Pattee, thank you. I know I just love COS. I am hoping tomorrow I will be able to start the Nov/Dec Challenge. I'm really looking forward to the New Year and all of the cool things we are going to be doing there. I'm thinking of opening up an Etsy Shop for the Group too. I hope you are feeling better and I'm sorry that you had to cancel your trip, but April is great time to visit Amsterdam. It's beautiful there that time of year too.
Have a great and creative weekend.
Love ya
Cheers
Helllooooo My Friend! WOW! YOu have been busy, and add to that a new group? Amazing!
Hmmmm...I doubt I have anything creepy enough to be "Orphany" although I REALLY really want to be dark and gothy...but I can't get the dolls to look dark or twisted, somehow they seem to have a mind of their own! DOH! :)
Can I ask, whatever happened to Dark Artist Guild? I remember you guys had that going?
Well, hope all turns out for the best :)
HUGS!ZAN
Wow, I love these. A little creepy underworld.
Well, you have been busy once again... another action on your list, girlfriend. That sounds so cool to have a blog for the COS. I'm going to visit and cheer you all on. yay...
Great piece Michelle!!
Hey Lady!!
Thanks for coming by to visit me yesterday! Loved all the cool comments you left me! Signed up for the Creepy Orphans Society!!! Already started this month's project!
Give me one day for the yarn links because I'm in the process of setting up another blog just for yarn and altered art shop--taking a lot of pictures, slow but will be finished soon!!
Make a list of what you want and I will get it together! Hubby laid off at Panasonic! Must sell because new job starts in January in South Carolina and don't want to have to move all of my stuff!
So got to get rid of stash! I am talking major big stash--anything you can think of--crochet, cables, lace, how-to books, patterns from every knitting shop you could ever name--lots of koigu and wool for socks, shawls, sweaters etc.
Make out a Heart's desire list--anything you have wished for I'm sure I've got it! No kidding! If I don't have it I'll steal it for you!!LOL!!
Know anyone else that would be interested!!
So excited to be a part of this group!!
Big hugs, Kym
P.S.
Green Olives--must mean MARTINI? Right? Lots of ice, Tanqueray Gin, drop or two of olive juice, splash of Dry Vermouth! Dirty, stirred not shaken, don't want my gin bruised! 3 plump olives! Strain into a large martini glass! No sissy Manhattans for me!! LOL!!
Hi, I would LOVE to join the COS! I have been looking for outlets to get my work out and about. I have a Etsy store that I opened. You can see it at www.madonnaenchanted.etsy.com also have a blog too at www.theenchantedroom.blogspot.com. I just LOVE all things creepy and unusual! I get most of my inspiration from my mom Gail Lackey who is a doll artist. I work in many types of media....I am getting ready to post on my blog alot more of my creepy pieces I have been working on so you can get more of an idea of how creepy I am lol. I am so excited I found your blog and hope to hear from you :) Thanks! Kim
