Well, it was back to work today and I really had to drink tons of coffee to stay awake! LOL Monday's are really hard for me because once I get home from work on Friday night, around 7:00 p.m with a fresh pot of coffee brewed and some snacks, I head up to my Studio and begin my life...I'm there until Sunday night around 8:00 p.m., I pull myself out of my studio, take the Sunday PM Shower (because I know I'm not going to be in any shape to take one Monday Morning), and get ready for the work week ahead of me in Bethlehem...the Christmas City!
I thought I would share some of the pieces that I was working on this weekend, and some of the pics from my workshop that I'm taking with Suzi Blue... I haven't even started the Rodeo Girl Workshop...I'm still working on the 2nd week of practice sketching...LOL Oh well... At least I'm trying...right? LOL
These little ornaments are still in the works!
I'm also working on some more of the Misguided/Deranged Love Bunny...LOL
Here is a bigger version of the "Misguided/Deranged Love Bunny"
This piece I'm working on for our DAG Team Mini-Challenge "Tombstone" which is due in 2 weeks. I'm hoping to get her completed by this weekend!
We must not forget the fact that I am the ultimate "Art Magazine Junkie" so I had to rip through the pages of my new Mags I received in the mail on Saturday! Thank Goodness for Postal Service! LOL
I'm taking Suzi Blu's Workshop Les Petit Dolls 1 and also the Rodeo Girl Workshop... Needless to say, I'm still on Les Petit Dolls 2nd week...I'm so glad that we are able to download the Videos and go at our own pace...because if not....well, let's just say that everyone would be on her 10th Workshop! LOL
I wanted to take Suzi Blu's Workshop because I can't draw for crap...so this is a great Workshop for beginners (like me)... If you haven't stopby her website, especially if you love mixed-media painting and drawing you must check it out! I've learned a lot from watching her videos and she makes it fun...Thank goodness she encourages you to take your time to PRACTICE!Well, I'm off to make some dinner...how about some Buffalo Wings and a few pints of beer!
Have a wonderful evening! Until next time...
CHEERS!

The world is even smaller, I too grew up in Maplewood &I graduated from Columbia High School. There is a paper books exhibition this week at Baird center in south orange.
My next class is in May at Summit Visual Arts, Its called: The Illustrative Assemblage, you learn how to draw in a plethora of mediums and styles, turning your painted works into 2 different assemblages, and more mixed media techniques!
Magic and Joy!
